Initial Inspection & Service

During your initial service, you'll have the opportunity to address any pest concerns that you have with your technician so that he or she can make sure to address those issues. The initial service takes about an hour to complete and consists of an interior and exterior flush-out treatment. You may notice an increase in pest activity in the days following the treatment; this is normal as pests are flushed from their hiding spots. If the activity has not subsided after ten days, please contact us and we'll come back to take care of it.

Maintenance Treatments

Your regularly scheduled maintenance treatments will begin 30 days after your initial service. Depending on your service plan, we'll return every 30, 60, or 90 days to provide consistent pest control treatments to keep your home pest-free. These regular service visits continue to break down the reproductive cycles of pests around your home, which prevents them from breeding and returning to your house. Gaps in scheduled treatments over 90 days increase the risks of new infestations, which is why regular treatments are so important.

ANTS

Ants can enter your home through virtually imperceptible cracks in search of food. With some ant colonies reaching populations over half a million, they can certainly wreak havoc. More than just minor annoyances, ants can do serious damage to your property.

ROACHES

Roaches pose a serious threat to your health and wellbeing. With so many different types of roaches, each requiring different application methods in order to eliminate them from your home, only a true roach pest control expert such as Texas A-1 Pest Control can rid your home of a roach infestation.

MOSQUITOES

The only way to truly rid your home and yard of mosquitoes is with an effective, local mosquito control service and our method has been proven to be significantly more effective at ridding your yard of mosquitoes than the most common mosquito pest control solutions

SPIDER

Spiders are arachnids with eight legs and six or eight eyes. There are over 40,000 different species in the world. Some live in warm climates while others prefer the cold. Spiders spin webs made out of silk. Some species use their webs to catch their food while other prefer to leave the web to hunt. Most spiders prefer insects while others are herbivores. Spiders are unable to digest solids. They secrete enzymes to liquefy a meal prior to eating. Spiders typically only bite humans in self-defense. Some species are poisonous. If you are uncertain of the type of spider that bit you, try to take it to the doctor with you in a sealed container. Black widow spiders, western black widow spiders, brown recluse spiders, desert recluse spiders and hobo spiders are all poisonous and found in the United States.

RODENT

Rodents are particularly pesky pests to deal with. Not only are they an incredible inconvenience, but their presence in your home is also hazardous to your health and well-being. They can gain entry into your home by squeezing into the smallest of holes, and while you may be tempted to attempt a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) rodent removal project, you will likely find that your problem is not truly eradicated. We often find that our customers may have treated some of the rodents found in their homes, but they will not have found all of them nor the source in which these rodents are gaining access to their home; all of which is incredibly important in properly treating a rodent infestation. You need to first and foremost ensure that no more rodents can enter your place. At which point, you can then focus on getting rid of those that are already in your home.
